FAQ

  • Book a birth consult with me! During your consult, we’ll chat about your hopes for your birth and look at which package option is best for your needs. It’s best that your partner comes with you to the consult (usually done on Zoom) so that everyone has a chance to meet each other and we are all on the same page. I will be able to answer your questions and go over your birth plan. Starting at 37 weeks, I’ll be on call for your birth!

  • I work with a reliable back-up photographer named Erin Loughlin from Loughlin Birth + Family Photography. She is a photographer whom I trust and whose work I greatly respect. I would use Erin as my back-up in case of a family emergency or if two births were happening at the same time. We can chat more about back-up photographers at our meeting, at which time you can request to meet Erin as well.

  • Yes please! I know from my own experiences which providers (that I know about) will allow birth photography but it’s always good to hear it right from them and ask if there are any restrictions.

  • Yup! Whether it’s 3am or 2pm I am totally there! Working together means I am committed to being at your birth and will be on call from 37 weeks until baby arrives! Once labor begins, I will clear any obligations and join you around the time you are in active labor. We will stay in communication during early labor so that we can assess the best time for me to arrive. I go to bed with my phone on full blast so I don’t miss a thing!
